Now you aren't planning an elf, but I recall that I stopped using the Dark Brotherhood hood when I saw that my Dunmer's right ear clipped through it. Very annoying since it suited her so well. Webb4 mars 2024 · I can understand this is obviously so the helmet will fit well without the hair clipping through, but it might be worthwhile to see if it's possible to get the excess hair to reapply after the hide helmet option is used. After testing this out some more it seems it isn't just ponytails.

After a bit of experimenting I discovered that it was the hairstyle I had that was bugged. After switching to a slightly different one the clipping disappeared.
