Dont use turpentine unless you have to ,sandarac has a tendency to gel up when cooked with oil and its best to dilute it with just oil.You can actually use it as a painting medium similar to meglip.If turpentine is added at the wrong time (which is most of the time)it will precipitate the sandarac out.
