WebEffect of annealing on ZnSe films has been analyzed by spectroscopic techniques which include optical absorption, Raman, and photoluminescence spectroscopy. From optical absorption, band gap has been estimated along with other optical parameters like refractive index and extinction coefficient. WebZinc selenide (ZnSe) meniscus Lens (ZnSe) is used as a condensing lens with CO 2 laser (10.6μm). The meniscus designed shape is optimized to minimize spherical aberration. With anti-reflection coating the loss due to surface reflection can be reduced, and the laser light with high efficiency can be condensed.
