WebThey're easy enough to play, and you can engender as much slap-articulation, fret-sliding, and finger-vibrato as you wish. In my view, playing a real electric bass on a track totally pwns a key-played monosynth for "vibe" and human-articulation. I agree with the above. I own some classic bass synths, but use a Fender P-Bass and a Sansamp Bass DI.
