I am building my TJ with 05 super duty axles front and rear. The jeep had an 8.8 and dana 30 on 35s, but that wasn't big enough and I actually want to be able to keep up with the people I ride with. WebAfter reaming your knuckles and pitman arm to the GM one ton taper this kit will bolt into XJ, MJ, TJ, LJ and ZJ axles. This is a bolt in replacement for factory steering on vehicles with up to a 4" lift. You will need to increase the knuckle taper to account for the much stronger 3/4 taper vs the stock 5/8 taper on the pitman arm and knuckles.

The weight of the Jeep is on the hub and bearing assembly and not on the shafts which means the shafts are simply transmitting power/torque.
