It is literally the gen 2 grip with gen 4 texturing, back then no-one bitched about the cutout to my recollection, and the gen 2 guns are still sought after. The FCG changes I could take or leave, but it does seem to improve the trigger. M&P2.0 is fine too, texture is much more aggressive than the Gen 5.
