Computer is the A9L or equivilant, I run the X3Z (cobra) but it needs work because it is all upper rpm band power. You can do this mod for WELL under a grand, probably more like 5-700 if you get a good deal on the intakes.

Most AFPRs adjust up to a max number of about 60 PSI or less so there's little or nothing to be gained by using one with the stock injectors. WebMar 22, 2011 · In 96, OBD-II compliance was mandatory for cars and Light trucks so all the F150/Bronco/E150's I could find for 96 up with 351/302 are mass air and these are EEC-V. F250 up are still a mix of MA and SD. I did find that there was for 96 and 97 a California emissions mass air 7.5L (460).

I think fordfuelinjection.com sells a resistor device that does the same thing but is much neater.
